Just us girls
Dan threw me a surprise anniversary party this weekend at a karaoke bar. Almost all of my friends were there (Lisa bussed from Boston, Caitlin even flew from Chicago) and we spent five hours drinking and singing. Then we spent the next two days enjoying each other’s company and playing The Drawing Game and eating and drinking some more and laying in the sun. I cried out of happiness several times.
Sometimes I feel frustrated when I can’t quite describe my feelings, but right now, it’s exciting to be so incredibly happy and in love and exhausted. Also, these are the only two pictures I know that exist from this weekend, and I think it sums things up nicely. Oh, and my dad ran a marathon.
What a difference year and a half makes.
